About Invoice Generator
Invoice Generator turns a short form into a clean, sendable PDF invoice — business and client details, an invoice number and date, line items with quantity and unit price, an optional tax line, and a notes field for payment terms. The PDF is rendered in your browser and downloaded directly. There is no account to create, no template gallery to wade through, and no watermark on the file.
Worked example: enter 'Mello Studio', your contact details, and a client; type two line items ('Logo redesign — 1 × $1,200', 'Print files — 3 × $80'); set a 7-day due date; pick 'No tax'. The PDF lays out a header with both parties, the line-items table, the subtotal and total, your payment notes, and the due date — ready to attach to an email or save into your records folder.
The form covers what most freelancers and small studios need: any currency symbol, custom tax labels (VAT, GST, sales tax), an editable invoice number prefix, and free-form notes. What a generator running in a browser cannot do — and this one does not — is track payments, send reminders, or maintain an invoice register; for those you want a proper invoicing service. Legally required fields also vary by country (EU VAT number, UK Making Tax Digital, US 1099 reporting), so treat the template as a starting point and check local rules before sending in a regulated context.
Everything stays in your browser. The PDF is composed and saved locally with jsPDF; nothing about your business, your clients, or your invoice totals is uploaded or logged.
